Data Retention and Deletion

ForgeIQ retains user information only for as long as necessary to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business operations.

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information at any time by:

- Using available in-app account deletion features, if provided, or

- Contacting support at support@forgeiqbaseball.com

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, ForgeIQ will take reasonable steps to:

- Delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account

- Remove user-generated content where reasonably possible

- Disable account access

Certain information may be retained for a limited period where necessary for:

- Legal compliance

- Fraud prevention

- Security investigations

- Dispute resolution

- Backup and disaster recovery processes

- Enforcement of agreements and policies

Residual copies of data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups or archived systems until automatically deleted through normal retention cycles.

Minors and Parent Requests

Parents or legal guardians may request deletion of a minor’s information by contacting:

ForgeIQ will take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of the requesting individual before processing deletion requests involving minors.

Team and Organization Data

If a player account is associated with a team, coach, or organization account, certain historical team records, statistics, or communications may remain visible to authorized organization administrators after account deletion where operationally necessary.

Where possible, personally identifiable information will be removed or anonymized.

Messaging and Uploaded Content

Deleted accounts may not immediately remove:

- Messages sent to other users

- Shared team communications

- Archived season chats

- Coach feedback previously delivered to teams or organizations

ForgeIQ may retain limited communication records for:

- Safety investigations

- Abuse prevention

- Platform integrity

- Legal compliance

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, users may have rights to:

- Access personal information
